We have been using Scutta Adovocacy Group for more than one year. Our experience is nothing short of exceptional.
My parents, both in their mid 90’s need help which the senior living facility does not provide. My brothers and I live across the country. We visit regularly but not on a schedule where we can assist in day to day needs.

My family has been working with Scutta for the past nine months to navigate some difficult health and care dynamics. Both Leah as our nurse advocate and Anne as our expert practitioner and companion have become a real part of our family's "team". With three children spread across the country trying to support a parent, that's no small feat. They are available for us, communicate with us, celebrate milestones with us and go to bat on our behalf in many complex contexts—with medical providers, within assisted living, within a hospital setting—plus coordinating across all of them to make sure nothing is missed.

Ever since engaging Scutta to assist in managing care for senior family members, I have been very pleased with not only the services provided, but the overall approach. Billing is a smooth process, with incredibly detailed explanations of individual charges, and the odd times I have a question for the office, phone calls and emails are promptly returned. We are blessed to have Anne as our Scutta Advocate, and I can’t imagine this journey without her! When I was questioning the lack of care my husband was receiving at The Palmetto's Memory Care Unit, I contacted Bob Scutta. Without hesitation, he sent two of his RN's to evaluate my Tom the next day. They were alarmed and felt Tom needed evaluated by our primary doctor, so an appointment was made and when our doctor looked at my Tom, he looked at me and said, "What in the world happened"? Without their intervention, nothing would be know of the poor care my Tom was receiving at this facility. With their medical guidance, Tom was pulled out of the facility, a hospice group was put in place and Tom was put in a much more appropriate setting for the last four days of his life. I don’t leave reviews but this one I felt compelled to do so. I met Leah from the Scutta Advocacy Group and it changed the way I look at people and convinced me that there are some people who were born to do their job, Leah is the one! Leah was a god send and I mean that! I lacked the ability to deal with my father’s care in 5 key areas; understanding my options, understanding doctor’s orders, coordinating the doctors, advocating for my dad and putting together a game plan. I was totally out of my element, living 1,000 miles away and not able to coordinate everything that was needed.
